The Important Role of Masks during a Pandemic

Last week's meeting, my friends and I got an assignment from Mom Diana. At that time, a meeting was held via the Zoom application. The topics discussed this time are SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and service learning. What is the purpose of the SDGs for?Tthe goal of the SDGs is to improve people's welfare. Next, we were all ordered to make groups in which each group consisted of four people. Also, we have to choose one or more of the problems that occur in the SDGs, then investigate the problem and make a plan.

By the time the zoom was over, we all immediately formed a group. Everyone worked with great enthusiasm. Well, here's the situation I want to contact one of my friends, uh it turns out he was the first to ask to join me, then one or two also wanted to join, and someone suggested that the group was the same as before. However, at that time there were two people who wanted to join, and my group had three people. I offered him only one. But they don't want to. Ok, finally the three of us agreed to make the same group as before. Namely I, Chofifah, Manik and Nabila Ramadhani.

After creating groups, the four of us discussed what problems we took. On the sidelines of the discussion, each group was instructed to propose a group leader and include an email address. I took the initiative myself to become the group leader also with mutual consent. After that, Mom Di sends access maps to the group leader to mark where the group members live. In the discussion we agreed on the issues we took up, namely regarding health and well-being. We take the issue of using masks during this pandemic. Because the role of masks during this pandemic is very important, and there are still many people who violate them. There are some people who underestimate this Covid 19. A new life habit was suddenly created, namely wearing a mask when leaving the house. Our plan is to give masks to those closest to us. After analyzing the problem and making a plan, we created a series of mindmaps. In making the mindmap, there are four revisions. Finally, in the fourth revision, we felt confident and then we sent it to Google Classroom.

After a few days, one of the members got a comment from Mom Di that it was still not right with the service learning steps. We discussed it again. After our discussion, we revised the mind map and what is in it. After that, we discussed again about the action and demonstration that will be carried out. Action and demonstration that we take is to start from ourselves first. Set a good example, such as wearing a mask when leaving the house. Then, when we see that someone who is sick leaves the house or wants to travel without wearing a mask, we must reprimand and at least we provide a mask to wear at that time. Here's the documentation that I did in the neighborhood.

This is the ins and outs of my experience in doing this service learning activity. Ok, good bye and see you. Stay safe and stay healthy my friends.
